Force India has rejected claims it is in danger of being forced out of business.
The Daily Telegraph reported that the Formula 1 team could be forced to close because it had not filed its 2008 accounts by an October 31 deadline.
It claimed a notice of dissolution had been sent to directors including team principal Vijay Mallya on January 26.
The paper also quoted a Companies House representative as saying: "If we don't receive any accounts in the next three months we are going to strike the company off".
However, Mallya said in a statement: "Force India's participation within the F1 championship has not been, and will not be, in jeopardy.
“It is not unknown for companies to file their annual returns late, the reasons for which are varied."
Mallya added that Force India had been granted an extension until February 25 and was taking "all the necessary steps" to ensure the accounts were submitted before that date.
