Radio Guangdong launches first all-English sports talk show 08/02/2010

The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has signed a deal with Radio Guangdong to produce the station’s first all-English sports talk show – to be called Asian Games Live.
The first programme aired at the weekend (Feb 6) and will run up to and during the Games in November.
Based in Guangzhou, Radio Guangdong is a provincial-level station consisting of nine channels offering music and sports programming and has an audience reach of 72 million daily listeners.
With 167 hours of daily programming on political, economic, social and cultural issues, Radio Guangdong has a 70% market share among all radio listeners in the Pearl River Delta and within Guangzhou.
