‘Golf in Dubai’ has transferred ownership of the company to the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD).
ICD manages a portfolio of assets which includes airline Emirates, Dubai Aluminium and EmiratesNBD.
Golf in Dubai is the promoter and organiser of tournaments such as the Dubai Desert Classic and the Dubai Ladies Masters.
The organisation’s vice-chairman and chief executive Mohamed Juma Buamaim said: “We are proud to announce that Golf in Dubai will now function under the ICD umbrella and we look forward to seeking their advice and guidance in achieving goals which are mutually beneficial.
“The transfer of Golf in Dubai’s assets to ICD’s portfolio of holdings will, in no way, affect our management structure nor any employee or our agreements with third parties.”
Golf in Dubai was created in 2005 to promote Dubai as one of the world's leading golfing destinations and to underline its other international attractions to a worldwide audience.
