CTV has signed a four-year extension to its deal for the Canadian broadcast rights to the NFL.
Under the terms of the agreement, CTV remains the NFL’s exclusive partner for regular season Sunday afternoon games, all play-off games, the Pro Bowl, and the Super Bowl.
The new deal runs until 2013 and Rick Brace, president of revenue, business planning and sports at CTV, said: “The National Football League’s broadcast package has been the perfect fit on the CTV schedule for the past three years and we are thrilled to be able to extend our partnership with a brand that defines excellence.
“As we saw this year, the Super Bowl is one of those rare television events that transcends sport and popular culture. We are looking forward to bringing fans and advertisers the best of the NFL for the next four years.”
