Morecambe has signed a five-year naming rights deal with the company building its new £12m stadium.
The venue will be known as the Globe Arena after Globe Construction, which is building the League Two club’s new ground at Westgate.
The 6,000 capacity stadium will also be used for community sports activities when it opens in time for the 2010/11 season.
As well as the sponsorship agreement, the club has unveiled a new crest – a large shrimp logo on a red shield.
Chairman Peter McGuigan said the £250,000 sponsorship deal and the new crest design marked an “exciting new era” for the club.
"Our nickname is the Shrimps and we're sure our fans will be delighted with the new logo,” he added.
"The new development when completed will offer not only a fantastic stadium worthy of our status as a Football League club, but also act as a high-quality sporting and social venue for the local community."
