AirAsia has signed a three-year deal to become the title sponsor of the British MotoGP.
The low-cost airline had previously sponsored two local riders in the 125cc race at the 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix.
AirAsia chief executive Tony Fernandes, who is also boss of the new Lotus Formula 1 team, said: “We are proud and excited to be back in MotoGP this year, with a bigger role by being the title sponsor of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone."
The race returns to Silverstone this year after being held at Donington Park since 1987.
