The De Vere hotel group has agreed a three-year extension to its sponsorship deal with one of the oldest golf tournaments on the European Tour.
The agreement will see the luxury golf resort company sponsor the De Vere Collection PGA Seniors Championship until 2013.
The event dates back more than half a century, having first been contested in 1957, and remains the only 72-hole event on the Senior Tour circuit outside of the four Senior Majors.
De Vere’s renewal extends a relationship with the PGA Seniors Championship which began in 1996.
PGA chief executive Sandy Jones said: “The PGA enjoys a strong relationship with De Vere built up over many years and its support of the PGA Seniors Championship has helped it go from strength to strength.
“The announcement they have agreed to extend their sponsorship is a huge boost for the event and we look forward to some more exciting golf over the next three years.”
