Coca-Cola has extended its long-standing sponsorship deal with Uefa, making it the third global partner to have signed up for the next two European Championships.
The new deal runs until 2017 and covers Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, and Euro 2016, which will take place in either France, Italy or Turkey.
The soft drinks giant joins Adidas and Castrol as top-level sponsors of the two tournaments.
"Our long partnership with Uefa has proven to be very successful and we are proud to officially announce its renewal," said Dirk Veryser, business unit president of Coca-Cola Northern Central Europe.
"I'm happy that for the first time in history, an event like Euro 2012 will be organised in this part of the world [Northern Central Europe]. The event offers Coca-Cola a unique opportunity to refresh and share the joy of football with millions of fans, as well as strengthen our position in the non-alcoholic beverage market in Poland and Ukraine.”
Uefa added that further global sponsorship announcements are expected to be made “imminently”.
