The OneAsia golf tour has signed a contract with ESPN-STAR Sports to broadcast its tournaments in Asia for the next five years.
OneAsia was launched last year to rival the Asian Tour. Eleven OneAsia events are scheduled for 2010 in China, Australia, South Korea and Thailand.
"The OneAsia series comprises some of the biggest golf tournaments across the region, and we're pleased to showcase this new premium golf series across Asia," Craig Dobbs of ESPN-STAR Sports said.
ESPN-STAR Sports is a joint venture between Walt Disney Co and News Corporation.
