The Premier League will launch its own global television channel from next season, officials have confirmed.
The new channel will broadcast 24 hours a day, seven days a week from the start of the 2010/11 season.
It will feature news, studio discussions, individual programmes and classic matches. The channel will be available worldwide, but not in Britain.
