Boylesports does not intend to renew its shirt sponsorship deal with Sunderland when it expires at the end of next season, according to reports.
The Irish bookmaker signed a three-year deal to become the team’s shirt sponsor in April 2007, when the club was owned by an Irish consortium and managed by Roy Keane.
But the Irish Times claims the company does not intend to exercise an option to renew the deal in a bid to cut costs.
Reports at the time suggested the deal was worth £10m.
