Samsung has extended its sponsorship of the Paralympic movement to include the forthcoming Winter Games in Vancouver.
The electronics giant, which became a Paralympic sponsor for the first time four years ago at the Torino Games, will be the official wireless communications equipment provider and the official mobile communications equipment provider of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympics, as well as the exclusive bib sponsor and presenting partner of www.ParalympicSport.TV.
President of the International Paralympic Committee Sir Philip Craven said: "The continuous involvement of an innovative, global company like Samsung will contribute enormously to the success of the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games. As Paralympians competing here in Vancouver will become visible on ParalympicSport.TV, people from all over the world will be able to follow their exciting performances and learn about their inspiring stories."
The 2010 Paralympic Winter Games opening ceremony will take place on March 12.
