Formula 1 team Force India has confirmed it submitted its yearly accounts to Companies House by last week's February 25 deadline.
There had been suggestions that the team’s future in the sport was in doubt after it missed a previous deadline but it was granted an extension and has now filed the relevant documents, reports Autosport.
"The matter was a storm in a tea-cup, as there was never a real risk to us," Force India's chief executive Otmar Szafnauer told the motorsport website.
"They [the accounts] were filed on February 25 – and it is normal to get extensions like that. For us it was always business as usual."
