AC Milan sponsor bwin is launching a promotion offering people the chance to experience a day in the life of a Milan player.
The campaign, which will run online and offline, features two phases. The first asks users to provide their name and a picture which will then be featured in a viral video. Individuals will be shown in the Milan changing room and the team line-up before a game and the video ends with the person scoring the decisive goal and the camera zooming in on their face. Their name also features on the back of their shirt.
The second phase of the campaign will see 22 winners who have qualified through the bwin promotion experience a day in the life of a professional footballer at Milan’s training centre in Milanello.
The participants will be presented at a press conference which will include an official welcome and the traditional shirt handover. They will be driven to the training centre in the official AC Milan bus and be kitted out like a new summer signing before meeting the team at a training session.
Bwin became the official sponsor of AC Milan in 2006 but will be replaced by Emirates from the start of next season.
