The Asian Tour has said it will continue to work with the China Golf Association (CGA) despite being dumped by the organisation in favour of the breakaway OneAsia Tour.
The CGA became a founding member of the OneAsia Tour last year, ending a long association with the Asian Tour, which strongly opposes the new Asia-Pacific series.
However, Asian Tour chief Kyi Hla Han told China Daily: "We will continue to engage the CGA in dialogue. It cannot be denied China golf has benefited from the Asian Tour over the past few years.
"We will continue to work with the CGA for the mutual benefits of both the Chinese players as well as our Asian Tour players."
