Luxury mobile phone designer Mobiado has become a sponsor of the Powerboat P1 World Championship.
The company has signed a one-year deal with the series and will receive extensive branding at all race villages as part of the agreement.
Mobiado, which was founded in 2004 and is based in Vancouver, will also donate 20 mobile phones to the Powerboat P1 World Championship.
Powerboat P1 chief operating officer Robert Wicks said: “We are delighted to have Mobiado on board as one of our key luxury partners for 2010.
“Our alliance with an innovative mobile phone manufacturer upholds the integrity of our VIP experience and the championship’s reputation as a popular attraction among ultra high net worth individuals.”
The opening round of the Powerboat P1 World Championship takes place in Ukraine in May.
