Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has announced it has extended its sponsorship of the SAIL Open golf tournament for a third year.
This year’s event will take place at the Delhi Golf Club between March 30 and April 2.
SAIL chairman S.K. Roongta said: "In the two years we have supported the tournament, we have been privileged to witness world-class golf in India. We believe the SAIL Open will contribute to further development of the sport in India and the Asian Tour."
Asian Tour executive chairman Kyi Hla Han added: "Professional golf is reliant on sponsorship and we are delighted and honoured that SAIL continues to back the game at the highest level in Asia. The return of the SAIL Open is tremendous as golf in India has grown immensely over the years."
