Sky to unveil 3D service with Man Utd v Chelsea match 22/03/2010 |

BSkyB has announced it will launch its 3D TV offering with the Premier League match between Manchester United and Chelsea on April 3.
The broadcaster, which in January ran a test by showing United’s match against Arsenal in 3D in a handful of pubs, has signed up more than 1,000 pubs and clubs in the UK and Ireland to air the April game.
Following the match, Sky said it will show at least five more Premier League games in 3D before the end of the season on May 9. It will also air the Football League play-off finals at the end of May in 3D.
The 3D channel will initially be available at no extra cost to Sky’s high-definition TV subscribers who also pay for its premium sports and movies services.
