A Pakistan parliamentary committee will reportedly investigate alleged financial irregularities and mismanagement amounting to millions of rupees in the accounts of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Reuters claims that an auditor-general's report has highlighted financial irregularities, including spending without proper authoritisation or planning, of around 500m rupees ($5.93m) in a five-year period between 2003 and 2008.
PCB chairman Ijaz Butt said: "The AG's report is an eye-opener and obviously it talks about lot of money so we have left the matter in the hands of the PAC.”
