The Matrix Group has signed up as the title sponsor of the Jersey Seniors Classic golf tournament.
The financial services company has agreed a deal with promoter Sportcel Marketing Limited that will see the European Senior Tour event renamed the ‘Matrix Jersey Classic’.
The tournament will return to La Moye Golf Club on the Channel Island for the 15th consecutive year – the longest unbroken run of any host venue on the current European Senior Tour schedule.
Chris Merry, chief executive of Matrix, said: “Jersey is a leading international centre, with a hugely successful finance industry, and our business relationships with Jersey and the Channel Islands are growing fast.
“We are therefore delighted to be sponsoring the Matrix Jersey Classic, to be part of the European Senior Tour and to be strengthening our relationships with the Jersey business community, as well as demonstrating our commitment to the local community.”
