Heidfeld to chair GPDA 29/03/2010

Nick Heidfeld has been appointed the new chairman of the Grand Prix Drivers' Association (GPDA).
The Mercedes GP reserve driver takes over from Sauber's Pedro de la Rosa, who stepped down after securing a race seat for this season.
Heidfeld has competed in 167 Formula 1 races and claimed 12 podium finishes in his career so far.
