The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has said it is confident Russia will host a safe Winter Olympics in Sochi in 2014 following this week’s terrorist attacks in Moscow.
The IOC expressed its condolences to the 39 victims of Monday's (March 29) suicide attacks on Moscow subway stations.
It called security a top priority and added that it expects Russia to put in place "all necessary measures" to ensure a safe Olympics in four years’ time.
