The Lotus Formula 1 team is expected to confirm a new sponsorship deal this week with Malaysian mobile network Maxis.
ESPN F1 reports that although the branding was not on the cars during the Australian Grand Prix last weekend, the logo was present on the front nose of the green T127 in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (March 30) at the launch of the new Lotus-branded Proton Satria road car.
The deal is likely to be confirmed this week ahead of the team’s home grand prix in Malaysia at the weekend.
