PCCW has been awarded the Hong Kong media rights to France’s Ligue 1 for the next two seasons.
The company will show live coverage of matches across its “quadruple-play platforms” of Now TV, PCCW Mobile, PCCW eye/eye2 and now.com.hk.
PCCW’s executive vice-president of TV and new media Janice Lee said: “We are excited to offer our viewers the best of French football when the new season begins in August.
“Being one of the top leagues in Europe, Ligue 1 strengthens our broadcast of the top-quality football leagues and makes Now Sports the ideal channel for football fans to watch the best matches from every corner of the world.”
The agreement was negotiated by MP & Silva.
