The Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) has appointed TSE Consulting to conduct an in-depth review of its winter sports performance after the country’s worst-ever Winter Olympic showing at the Vancouver Games in February.
The project will include a comparative analysis of the best international models of sports performance and the current Russian Olympic system with the aim of providing the ROC with a better understanding of how to improve its competitiveness.
The project will be conducted by TSE Consulting's sports performance team – led by senior consultant Steve Roush. Roush joined TSE in February 2009 from the United States Olympic Committee, where he was chief of sports performance.
Lars Haue-Pedersen, managing director of TSE Consulting, said: “This new project presents a major challenge, but with the world's leading experts on the case, we are fully equipped to provide a full review that will enable future success for the Russian Olympic Committee.”
