Kappa has signed a five-year deal with Portsmouth to become the club’s official kit supplier from the start of next season.
The sportswear manufacturer, which will replace Canterbury, produced a special Kappa kit for Portsmouth to wear in its FA Cup semi-final win over Tottenham at the weekend.
Portsmouth’s head of operations Lucius Peart said: “We are delighted to be working with such an iconic sporting brand and we look forward to building a strong relationship with Kappa.
“The new kit looks really strong and we have really tried to integrate all the historical aspects of the club’s kit by being very careful and particular with the choice of colours.”
Kappa chief executive Simon Bamber added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Portsmouth. Their long history and tradition – and above all their incredible support – makes us proud to be part of the club’s future.”
