Investec has signed a deal to become the financial partner of Racing UK for an initial period of six months.
The specialist bank and asset manager already sponsors the Derby meeting at Epsom.
Racing UK commercial director Nick Mills said: “We are delighted that such a major blue-chip company has signed with Racing UK. We are all excited about working very closely with Investec and maximising their much-valued association with horseracing.
“It comes on the back of the one-year deal we signed with John Smith’s in February, which means that Racing UK now enjoys partnerships with the sponsors of the most famous jumps [Grand National] and flat [Derby] races in the world.”
Raymond van Niekerk from Investec’s global marketing team added: “Partnering with Racing UK can help strengthen our brand awareness among the racing community, and builds on the existing relationship with Epsom Downs for the Investec Derby Festival.
“We are keen to leverage the online and broadcasting channels to complement our BBC coverage.”
