The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports (NOC) is mulling a possible bid for the 2016 Youth Winter Olympic Games.
The NOC confirmed it was in talks with national and regional authorities about Lillehammer making a bid to stage the event in six years’ time.
The Austrian resort of Innsbruck will host the inaugural Youth Winter Games in 2012.
