Zavvi.com has signed a deal to become the official music and VIP partner of RugbyRocks.
The rugby and music festival hosts its first event in Richmond on June 12 and Zavvi will title sponsor the main stage.
RugbyRocks will host the inaugural National 7s series, which is being backed by England and Harlequins scrumhalf, Danny Care, and Ireland and Ospreys winger, Tommy Bowe.
Zavvi’s deal with RugbyRocks comes as the retailer looks to re-establish itself in the UK music and gaming market following its acquisition by the Hut Group.
The brand went into administration in December 2008 and its stores were closed by February 2009. The following month, The Hut Group acquired the retailer and relaunched it as an online-only brand.
