Total Sports Asia (TSA) has been awarded the global media rights to the Badminton World Federation’s Super Series of tournaments for the next three years.
As part of the deal, the 12 Super Series events and the year-ending Masters Final will be marketed and sold as a unified package for the first time.
TSA’s group chief executive Marcus Luer said: “For broadcasters and sponsors, having a one-stop-shop solution for the first time instead of dealing with different agencies will make a huge difference and will grow the value of the property over the coming years.”
TSA jointly bid with Singapore-based agency Enterprise Sports Group, which will handle the sponsorship rights for the Super Series and Masters Final.
