New York Jets games could be blacked out from local television because the team still has more than 10,000 unsold personal seat licenses for its new stadium and owner Woody Johnson will not lower the price, according to the New York Post.
The team refuses to sell licenses on a game-by-game basis and will not lower the prices, Johnson said in an interview.
The so-called PSLs cost as much as $30,000 for club seats, the newspaper added. It would be the first time in more than 30 years that local National Football League games have not been broadcast on New York television.
