Three cities in Texas and two in California are among 11 sites that have expressed an interest in hosting the Fed Cup final between the US and Italy.
The United States Tennis Association said that joining Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Pacific Palisades and San Diego in indicating they would like to stage the November 6-7 matches are Cleveland; the island of Hawaii; Jacksonville, Fla.; Portland, Ore.; St. Louis; and Surprise, Ariz.
Final bids are due to the USTA on June 4, and the winning venue is to be announced the week of June 14.
