The United States Olympic Committee (USOC) has signed a sponsorship deal with BMW that is reportedly worth $24m.
Full details of the agreement have yet to be confirmed, but it is thought it will run until after the 2016 Olympics.
BMW will be the first foreign car maker to sponsor the USOC. The German company will replace General Motors, which decided not to renew its sponsorship following the 2008 Olympics.
