England Netball has appointed global sporting events consultancy pmplegacy to help with the development of its bid to host the World Netball Championships in 2015.
Working in partnership with Manchester City Council, UK Sport and the Northwest Regional Development Agency, pmplegacy will assist with developing a bid that plays to England’s strengths and sets out the potential for the delivery of a world-class sustainable event with legacy at its core.
Chief executive of England Netball Paul Clark said: “This is an exciting time for netball in England and we are delighted to be working in partnership with pmplegacy to develop what we hope will be a winning bid. The bid will help us to continue to raise the profile of netball in England and support our strategic objectives of growing and developing the game.”
