North Korea has agreed a 4m euros deal with Italian kit manufacturer Legea ahead of the World Cup.
The four-year agreement will see North Korea take to the field in their opening World Cup game against Brazil on June 15 in their new apparel.
Legea outbid several European competitors as well as Chinese brand Hongxing after agreeing a contract which includes a 10m euros bonus if North Korea wins the World Cup
Legea prevailed after a fierce battle following revelations from the country’s football association that they were struggling to find a sponsor.
North Korea will compete in their first World Cup since 1966 and will face Brazil, Portugal and Ivory Coast in Group G.
