Friends Provident have once again turned to Havas Sports & Entertainment to help promote its sponsorship of England’s domestic Twenty20 cricket competition.
Havas Sports & Entertainment played a key role in helping Friends Provident clinch a three-year deal for the competition and will now help their client maximise the values of sponsorship.
The Friends Provident T20, which involves all 18 English counties and runs until August 14, comes almost immediately after the national side’s victory in the World Twenty20 in the Caribbean.
The campaign is set to feature an ambitious PR strategy as well as aspects of social media which will be directed by the Cake agency.
Friends Provident head of marketing services Karen Burrell said: “We are pleased to continue our long standing partnership with Havas Sports & Entertainment in bringing the sponsorship to life at the ground and via social media.”
Marcus Wight, chief operating officer of Havas Sports & Entertainment UK, added: “We have been working with Friends Provident for 15 years now and it is exciting to see how integrated the cricket sponsorship is with their overall marketing activity. In addition to our core skill set of sponsorship activation and management, we are delighted to be in a position to utilise our network skills through the delivery of a comprehensive social media campaign for Friends Provident.”
