Campbell Soup will continue its partnership with the National Football League for a further three years after sealing a multi-million deal.
Campbell Soup’s Chunky brand will remain as the NFL’s ‘official soup sponsor and ‘official chilli sponsor’ until the end of the 2012 season.
This deal comes just a month after the league signed a $1.2billion deal with Busch’s Bud Light to become the official beer of the NFL.
Campbell Soup’s Chunky product has been the official sponsor of the NFL since 1997 and the company are thrilled with the latest agreement.
“We are excited to renew a sponsorship that has been effective for the Chunky brand for more than a decade,” said Campbell Soup vice-president Michael Barkley.
“We are confident that our relationship with the NFL will continue to help us position the Chunky brand as a hearty and nutritious meal-time option. The NFL will be an important component in our marketing plans next season.”
