Israel’s leading tennis star Shahar Peer has agreed a sponsorship deal with website developer Wix.
Peer, whose three-year contract with Apax Partners ended in January, already enjoys deals with Reebok and Prince.
The Wix package, which is worth $100,000, will see Peer wear the Wix logo in public and allows the company to use the player’s image as well as build a website for the world number 18.
Wix chief executive officer, Avishai Avrahami said, "Wix is please to participate in Peer's success. Shahar is a great tennis hope whose success reminds all of us what a sense of Israeli pride is."
