The National Football League has agreed a multi-year agreement with Barclaycard US to allow the Bank to issue credit cards with the NFL shield logo and logos of the league’s 32 clubs.
The card, which will be available from September via the internet as well as by phone, can also be picked up at stadiums across the country.
For every dollar spent on the card, clients can redeem points for NFL game tickets, licensed merchandise and other game related offers.
"We are looking forward to working with Barclaycard to bring its customized approach to co-branded credit cards to our fans," said Keith Turner, the NFL's Senior Vice President of Media Sales & Sponsorship.
“We’re thrilled to have been selected by the National Football League to bring convenient and rewarding payment products to the sport’s many loyal fans and we’re looking forward to getting started,” added Scott Young, General Manager-Partnerships, Barclaycard US.
