Thomas Cook Sport has thrown its weight behind England’s bid to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The travel company has joined the team of official supporters and will host the bid team’s visit to South Africa this summer.
Thomas Cook joins the likes of Eurostar, Umbro, Morrisons, BT, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and British Airways who have all signed up as Tier One partners.
Ian Derbyshire, CEO Thomas Cook UK & Ireland said: "We're immensely proud to be part of the 2018 team, and with less than 200 days to go until the winning country is announced, we'll be encouraging all our customers to support the campaign and get behind the bid over the next few months.
"It's also only fitting that Thomas Cook Sport, who will be taking more England fans out to South Africa than anyone else, host the England 2018 World Cup Bid team's visit to the tournament."
Andy Anson, England 2018 bid Chief Executive, added: "We are delighted to have Thomas Cook on board, and have their support in attending the World Cup in South Africa.
"We know that Thomas Cook's unique place in the minds of the British holidaymaker will help us raise the profile of the bid and we're looking forward to working with them."
