British Airways insists their latest five-day strike by cabin crew will not affect fans travelling to the World Cup.
The strike follows the airline’s decision last November to reduce cabin crew pay and alter staffing levels on its flight.
The British national carrier has lost more than £120 million since staff walked out last Saturday but has yet to cancel a single flight to South Africa.
"In this final strike period there have been no cancellations to our flights to South Africa, Johannesburg and Cape Town, so those going out to the World Cup will be completely unaffected by the dispute," a BA spokesman said.
While BA is remaining positive, the Unite union, which represents the majority of cabin crew workers, says the dispute has cost the airline £154 million.
