G4S Secure Solutions have become the latest firm to be confirmed as an Official Supporter of England’s 2018 FIFA World Cup bid.
The UK-based company will offer ‘Official Private Safety and Security Services’ to the England bid after playing a key consultancy role.
G4S will offer expertise on crowd management, provide security staff at stadia around the country as well as advise on risk-management.
Doug Hewitson, Managing Director, G4S Secure Solutions (UK), said: "We are delighted to play our part in such an important event as the selection of a World Cup host nation.
“By using our global expertise in the assessment and management of security and safety risks, we are able to input in to the safety and security elements of the England 2018 bid.”
Andy Anson, England 2018 bid Chief Executive, added: "G4S played an important role in the delivery of England's bid book to FIFA in May and their expertise will be vital as the campaign progresses, particularly during the visit of the FIFA inspection team in August.”
