Google and FIFA have teamed up to launch a number of online features to keep football fans in touch with the latest news for the 2010 World Cup.
FIFA has set up a relationship with Google in a bid to help divert more traffic to its website and secure more hits on FIFA.com.
Google has already established FIFA.com Chrome extension to make sure a live feed of results, news and statistics is easily available for clients.
When a user types ‘World Cup’ into the search engine, they will see search results offering live scores, latest results and match schedules all provided by FIFA.com.
Meanwhile, Google is also providing matches for web-surfers at home with the iGoogle by streaming the matches online.
