Pepsi-Cola has been confirmed as the official drinks supplier of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
As the official beverage sponsor, Pepsi will be sold exclusively around Kentucky Horse Park during the games while the company will also provide recycling bins for empty bottles and cans.
John Dougherty, vice president and general manager of the Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Lexington, said: "Our Pepsi brand groups and Lexington employees are looking forward to being part of this international event and will continue this partnership beyond the games with our new relationship with the Kentucky Horse Park.”
The 2010 Games will feature eight world championships in equestrian sports and are being held for the first time in the United States from September 25 through to October 10.
"We are thrilled to announce Pepsi as a sponsor of the 2010 Games," said Terry Johnson, vice president of sales and marketing for the foundation. "
As one of the world's most recognisable brands, Pepsi's involvement will be a great asset to the games."
