CEO and chairman of Eurosport, Laurent-Eric Le Lay, has confirmed there will be a shake up of staff at the TF1-owned channel.
Jean-Thierry Augustin will now also be responsible for acquisition rights as well as becoming managing director of distribution and development.
Laurent Prud’homme has been named as director of rights acquisitions after Julien Bergeaud was appointed as the new broadcast director for Eurosport international and Eurosport 2.
Géraldine Filiol, deputy managing director and head of the Eurosport Events division, will continue to lead negotiations of acquisitions.
Elsewhere, Patrick Goddet, deputy manager of Eurosport France since 2004, has been given the portfolio of deputy managing director in office of the chairman.
