The English Lacrosse Association is frantically searching for several sponsors ahead of next month’s 2010 World Lacrosse Championships.
The event, which will be held in Manchester, has sold 40,000 tickets and is expected to attract large television viewing figures from the United States and Canada.
The Association recently appointed business growth agency Ideal Think Tank to gauge interest in the market from a number of potential sponsors.
“Despite the 2010 World Lacrosse Championships taking place so soon after the Football World Cup, we are still projecting strong figures for attendees as well as global audiences, and are sure that a global brand partnership deal will come from current and new negotiations,” said Caroline Royle, Head of Marketing for ELA.
