US Soccer president Sunil Gulati has revealed he would be happy to test video technology or extra referees in Major League Soccer.
Fifa has said it will look again at the possibility of introducing goal-line technology after several high-profile refereeing mistakes at this summer’s World Cup.
And Gulati told newsday.com: “We’d be happy to do some trial cases – not rules of the game, but with an additional referee or technology.”
