Kartel has agreed a deal to once again become the official clothing supplier to the 2010 Irish Open golf tournament.
It is the third consecutive year that the company has been appointed to provide branded uniforms for all marshals, scoreboard staff and championship staff working at the event, which takes place at the Killarney Golf & Fishing Club from July 29 to August 1.
The Kartel brand has sponsored three-time major winner Padraig Harrington for the last 14 years and also supports a number of emerging players, including Paul O’Hanlon, Cian McNamara, Barrie Trainer, Alan Murray and Gary Murphy.
“As an Irish brand we are especially proud to once again be appointed as the official clothing supplier to the Irish Open,” said Karl Swan, Kartel’s managing director.
“Kartel has been working with established and up-and-coming pros for many years, and we are very excited about the prospect of another Kartel winner emerging from some of the most exciting golfers in the world.”
