World number one tennis player Rafael Nadal has become a shareholder in his local football club Real Mallorca.
The club has been in financial difficulties and is bringing in new investors. Nadal's uncle, former player Miguel Angel Nadal, is to become assistant manager of the team under Michael Laudrup.
"It's an honour to be able to help Real Mallorca – I will help in any way I can," Rafael Nadal said.
