Chelsea has reportedly made an offer to former Barcelona sporting director Txiki Begiristain.
Begiristain, who played a major part in assembling the Barca squad that won the treble in 2009, is currently out of work after leaving the Catalan club last month.
Spanish newspaper Sport claims Chelsea has tabled an offer to Begiristain to become sporting director at the London club, with full control of transfer policy and coaching appointments.
